Infusion Services

Medical Center Hospital Infusion Services provides treatment for a wide variety of medical conditions. Services range from the administration of antibiotics for inpatients to the delivery of long-term chemotherapy in the outpatient setting.

Our Mission

Infusion Services is an ambulatory outpatient center treating both chronic and acute disorders. Infusion Services assists patients to regain normal daily activities, and decrease their hospital stay. Through patient education, we assist patients in reaching a greater understanding of their condition.

Our Staff

Our nurses play an integral role in coordinating care with physicians and clinical pharmacists while working to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. Each staff member is trained with certification in PICC insertion, Chemotherapy, and Biotherapy.

Hours of Operation

Infusion Services is open 365 days a year from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Because our patients require daily antibiotics to continue to maintain quality of life on an outpatient basis, we are open 7 days a week and on holidays as well.

Infusion Services accepts walk-ins until 3 p.m. on weekdays. No walk-ins or new patients accepted on weekends or holidays due to the inability to obtain required insurance pre-authorizations.

Only existing customers can be seen on weekends and holidays, so hours may vary, but open everyday at 7 a.m.

Our Patients

Because treatment time varies, you may bring snacks and wear comfortable clothes. We ask that arrangements be made for children as we want to respect every patient’s needs. We offer free coffee and have a blanket warmer to offer warm blankets in an effort to keep patients comfortable in the cold clinic.
