Eduardo J. Morfa, MD

About Eduardo

Dr. Morfa Romero specializes in Infectious Diseases, he is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico and is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. He attended medical school in Guadalajara Mexico at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at San Juan City Hospital in Puerto Rico and his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in New York. Dr. Morfa Romero is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Morfa Romero's major area of interest is in the treatment and prevention of HIV, opportunistic infections related to the immunocompromised patient, as well as infections related to sexual health.  He works closely with other adult specialties such as Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, General and Orthopedic Surgery,  Podiatry, etc. in the diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic infectious conditions.
