Residency Rotations for PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program

The PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Program will consist of six required rotations. The resident will also have an opportunity to select from available elective rotations to tailor the residency experience to his/her specific interests and career goals. Each rotation will allow the resident to expand on their clinical skills and knowledge by building upon the previous experiences and focusing on specific aspects of patient care.

Longitudinal rotations are required and will span the entire year of the residency program. These experiences will provide residents an opportunity to participate in activities at a more global level than that provided through the individual rotations.

Several of the rotations will have the opportunity for formal rounding with physicians and the medical residents. These experiences will ensure well-rounded clinical development and allow the residents to interact with patients to positively impact care.
