About Sudhir
Dr. Amaram received his M.B.B.S from the Institute of Medical Sciences Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, India in 1973. He completed his internship at Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad where he also directed his own family practice. Dr. Amaram completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Beekman Downtown Hospital in New York City and his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Stony Brook, New York.
Dr. Amaram is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and the American College of Cardiology. He is also a Fellow of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Intervention.
Dr. Amaram is the Director of the Center for Heart Diseases at Medical Center Hospital and offers a complete spectrum of cardiology care, including:
- Interventional cardiology
- Cardiac catheterization
- Echocardiography
- Nuclear cardiology
- Interpretation of carotid, arterial, subclavian and venous doppler studies
- Pacemaker and ICD management
- Cardiac arrhythmia management
