About Abdul

Dr. Alarhayem is a board-certified general and vascular surgeon who joined our group from Arizona. After completing his medical degree Magna cum laude, he completed his general surgery residency at the University of Texas Health in San Antonio, where he was also a Trauma research fellow. He completed his vascular surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He is an expert in evaluating and treating patients with a wide range of vascular issues; from thoracic and abdominal aneurysms to carotid disease, dialysis access creation and maintenance, peripheral vascular disease and varicose veins. He takes particular interest in amputation prevention and in diabetic foot disease. Dr Alarhayem has authored more than three dozen papers in leading medical and surgical journals and has contributed chapters to more than six medical textbooks. He also has presented papers at national medical meetings, including the Society for Vascular Surgery and the American College of Surgeons annual meetings.
