


Medical Center Hospital’s Neuro-Service Line is proud to announce a partnership with the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association and their “Get With the Guidelines—Stroke Program.” Get With the Guidelines helps ensure continuous quality improvement of acute stroke treatment and ischemic stroke prevention. Symptoms of Stroke
Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body
Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding
Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes
Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination
Sudden severe headache with no known cause
Stroke is a medical emergency! Do not ignore the symptoms of stroke. Take them seriously and call 911 immediately. Stroke is treatable if you arrive within the first few hours. Time lost is brain lost!
