Would you like to learn how to get more nutrition for fewer calories with less money and in less time?!? Take a Supermarket Survival tour, presented by MCH Cardio Central, and you can. Registered Dietitian Deborah McPherson, MS, RD, LD, CDE offers this two hour, aisle-by-aisle tour of a local supermarket during which you will discover how to reduce FAT, CHOLESTEROL, and SODIUM. The tour will show you how to add fiber to your diet without giving up taste or convenience and how to understand the nutritional labels on food products.

During your tour you will also receive a Supermarket Survival Kit which includes a comprehensive list of the healthiest foods by brand name and easy to fix recipes for using these products.

The Survival Kit also provides tips on how to reduce fat, sodium, and sugar in your diet; directions on reading food labels; a list of recommended cookbooks; and the new easy fat formula. At the end of the tour, participants will taste new and good-for-you foods and share recommendations of their favorite health foods.
