Regency Hospital of Odessa is located on the 6th floor of Medical Center Hospital.  Regency is a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility that is partnered with MCH to treat critically ill patients when they require intensive, acute level care for a longer time period.

For years, critically ill patients requiring complex treatment for long periods of time had nowhere to go.  They were caught in the never-ending cycle between regular acute care hospitals where they could not stay as long as necessary due to cost, and nursing homes which did not deliver the critical care necessary.  Regency LTAC provides the solution.
