Inpatient Surgical Services consists of the Main Operating Room, the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, the Anesthesia Department and Sterile Processing. These departments are located on the second floor of the main hospital.

The Operating Room and Anesthesia Department have 12 operating suites. We are planning a renovation in the near future. These departments have state of the art technology to do almost any case that can be done in major city institutions. We have recently begun a Bariatric Surgery Program with outstanding results and have plans for the future to expand our Neurosurgery services as well as to update other services as needed. The Operating Room provides surgical care to the community 24 hours a day.

The Post Anesthesia Care Unit has 12 beds dedicated to quality post-operative care for all ages. The nursing staff monitors each individual throughout the post anesthesia stage. The nurses provide physical as well as emotional support.

The Sterile Processing Department provides sterilization needs for the entire hospital and the Wheatley Stewart Medical Pavilion. They are available 24 hours per day. The staff assists in ensuring that instruments and supplies are sterile for use and safe for patients.
