Certified Lactation Consultants are available for new moms needing information about, or assistance with breastfeeding.  This service is available while you are still in the hospital, as well as after being discharged.

Complimentary breastfeeding consults post-discharge are available by appointment only.  To schedule an appointment, call (432) 640-1784.

Telephone consults are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. by calling (432) 640-1784.

MCH now also offers a breast pump rental station.

MCH has recently taken a giant step towards improving the health of newborns and infants by earning the Texas Ten Step Hospital designation from the Texas Department of Health and the Texas Hospitals Association.
